About a year ago, James and Jen Middlehurst took over an existing café in Tunsgate Road, Guildford, formerly named 'Gluten & Glee'. Having run a successful wedding events company for over nine years and recently been awarded Wedding Caterer of the Year 2016, the couple are understandably very proud of this achievement - so what would they do with this new café venture?
Last week I went for a working lunch with our editor (Sue) to Denbies Wine Estate where she was organising an art exhibition of new and emerging artists. But I have to confess, prior to our lunch I hadn't been to Denbies Wine Estate for years. Fifteen in fact, because the last time was at a corporate wine tasting in another working lifetime - but I was so impressed with my visit last Friday that I think my husband and family would all love a visit too.
