The Top Trend for 2026

The Top Trend for 2026

Lifestyle trends for 2026 are already starting to dominate the headlines, and people everywhere will soon be looking for the next big trend, but should we get so wrapped up in 'being good' and living the lifestyle of others?

It is human nature to want more, and if you have less you can start to believe that having more will make you happy. It goes without saying that having enough money to relieve the struggles and worries will go a long way to feeling healthier and happier. Money might not make you happy but it can certainly relieve day to day pressures.
Eat the Burger 2025
We are constantly bombarded with advertising, social media influencers, and people telling us what we need and how it will improve our lives. At Kokova Magazine we are somewhat guilty of the same, although we hope with less pressure when we are creating content about products we find, places we visit, and, most often than not, that we have paid for ourselves. We don't live perfect lives but we do live.

Trying to find a work/life balance, to find healthier food options without denying ourselves delicious treats, we shop as local as possible, when we can. Lifestyle trends can make us feel that we are failing if we don't keep up. The promise of a miracle cream to banish wrinkles and restore youth are never far from the front page. The latest superfood is just around the corner, and weight-loss jabs are a hot topic right now.

There is no denying that many of these products have a place in our lives, and have been a tremendous help to so many people, but how do we separate the wheat from the chaff? Ai is making leaps forward and everytime I Google something I get an Ai answer first, followed by more search results. Ai is not always right so I dig deeper with my own searches to find a balanced answer, then make up my own mind.

Trends for 2026 need to take into account that we are all human, we make mistakes, most of us are just trying to get by, and lead a healthier lifestyle. But sometimes we just want to eat that burger! Moderation is key and sweet or meat treats are OK, just not every mealtime, everyday. We need to find a balance without tipping our mental health with worry that we are not 'doing it right'.

So our Top Trend for 2026 is stop competing with what we think we should be. Maybe try to judge less and love ourselves more. Because everyday is different and every body is different.
