Love Food Festival returns to Dyrham Park

Join Love Food (LV) for a wonderful countryside celebration of local food at their stunning Cotswold home. LV will be putting a spring in your step as they set up camp in the grandeur of this gorgeous 17th century estate. For garden lovers the celebrated spring tulips throughout the West Garden are not to be missed.

World Autism Awareness Day

World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD) is on Monday 2nd April and there are loads of ways you can show your support. There are over 500,000 people with autism in the UK - that's 1 in 100. Together with their families, that's over two million people whose lives are touched by autism every single day.

The Grand National at Aintree

In 1839 a horse called Lottery won the first Grand National and Captain Becher parted company with his horse at a now famous brook to signify the start of a British sporting institution. The Grand National 14th April is a race synonymous with Red Rum, a horse who captured the nation's hearts.

Love British Food 2012

This year, British Food Fortnight which traditionally takes place during the autumn, runs at the same time as the Olympics under the title 'Love British Food 2012' 27 July - 12 August 2012. Promotions are planned in thousands of shops, pubs and restaurants.

A Perfect Summer Celebration at the Battle Proms

Folk by the Oak is Five

Folk by the Oak will be celebrating its fifth festival in 2012, and will once again be filling Hertfordshire's beautiful Hatfield Park with equally beautiful folk and acoustic music. Sunday 22nd July will certainly be a date for the diary, as the organisers announce another fabulous line-up: Show of Hands, The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, Cara Dillon, Breabach, Chris Wood, Nancy Kerr & James Fagan, and Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo.
