Situated a few miles south of Tunbridge Wells, The George pub in Frant, East Sussex is to host the Sloe Gin World Championships on Wednesday 11th December from 1.00pm. Dating back to around 1750, the traditional country pub boasts two bars and a restaurant, traditional English food with continental influences, hand drawn beers, oak beams, a large enclosed garden and dogs lying by log fires in winter - making it an ideal setting to judge the most traditional of Christmas liqueurs.

From Friday 13th - Sunday 15th December 2013 The Chocolate Festival returns to the Southbank Centre for the11th gastronomic celebration of all things chocolate. With free admission the festival is open from 11am-8pm on Friday & Saturday - 11am-6pm on Sunday.

On the 18th September 2013 Smile Ambassadors 'The Overtones' travelled to an Operation Smile medical project in Ruhengeri, Rwanda to join a team of international volunteers. Lachie, Timmy, Darren, Mark and Mike offered their support to help make the dream of an operation come true for children born with cleft lips and palates. We asked The Overtones about their time in Rwanda and discovered what impact this has had on their lives.
