Last week we were lucky enough to get an invitation to the YO! Burger launch party at YO! Sushi's premier restaurant in Poland Street where we sampled all five of the limited edition YO! Burgers and talked to Mike Lewis, YO! Sushi's award winning Executive Chef. The creation of the YO! Burger stems from Mike's many travels across Japan, to all the different regions. Mike wanted to capture all the flavours and experiences from his travels into the five new, exciting flavours of YO! Burger.

Lately we have found the trend towards 'natural & organic' skincare a little confusing and in light of the recent report from the Soil Association regarding the harmful chemicals found in organically labelled products, we decided to look a little closer at the synthetic market vs the natural choice. The International Institute of Anti-Aging (iiaa) are the official UK distributors of Environ Skincare, Jane Iredale natural mineral make-up and the Advanced Nutrition Programme (ANP) beauty supplements, so we visited their Skin3 salon in Swiss Cottage, London and began trialling their range.

Honeybuns, the award-winning bakery based in Dorset, will be setting new standards in the realm of off-the-shelf home baking mixes with the launch of their Sponge Cake Mix, the first of three eagerly awaited new gluten-free home baking mixes. This versatile Cake Mix has a nuttiness and slightly caramelised flavour owing to the use of ground flaxseed and brown sugar respectively.

Last week we were invited to the Spirit of Summer Fair 2013 to discover little rays of sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day. After the late start to this year's warmer weather we were keen to get into the summer mood and our visit to Olympia meant we were not left disappointed...

On Saturday 11th May 2013 the Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa welcomed guests to an evening of gourmet gluten-free dining with guest speaker Martin Vozar, co-founder of CELIA lager. With a delicious gluten-free menu, paired wines and an entertaining guest speaker the evening was guaranteed to be a success.
