Natural Organic Skincare from Aedos

With three products entered into the 2013 FreeFrom Skincare Awards and Karena Callen, former Beauty Director of ELLE and Red, simply loves Aedos, labelling their products as "beautifully made, and highly effective" the Aedos natural skincare range has some great recommendations. So we took their Italian Bergamot & Grapefruit Sugar Scrub and Facial Oil for Glorious Normal Skin to our testers for their verdict on this range.

Sukrin Sunflower and Pumkin Seed Bread Mix

As ever we are always on the search for a good 'free from' loaf and at the Natural & Organic Trade Show earlier this month we discovered a great little bread mix that is not only gluten and wheat free but soy, milk and yeast free too. So with an air of trepidation and a pinch of curiosity we headed over to the Sukrin stand at the show to see if their bread passed our taste test. And we were pleasantly surprised by what we found.

Gloriously Gluten Free PERK!ER Porridges

After going gluten free in 2009 Ann Perkins discovered a few things; first she started to feel a lot better and had loads more energy; second, she realised she had a lot less choice in food, and that a lot of gluten free food is inferior in quality and more expensive than the gluten containing alternative. So in 2011, Ann, together with Steven Turner, decided to give up their jobs and think of ways they could make life better for everyone who has to avoid eating gluten. And PERK!ER was established in 2012.

That's why jane iredale - The Skin Care Makeup® combines up-to-date colours for every complexion or ethnicity in a formulation that offers serious skin-care benefits.

The Bar Keeper's Friend Can Now Be Your Friend Too

Back in 1882 a chemist from Indianapolis noticed how clean and shiny his tarnished pot was after cooking rhubarb. So using an active ingredient that's found in the rhubarb plant he made a talcum smooth cleaner and sold it to the city's taverns. It worked so well that it was called 'Bar Keepers Friend' - and now it can be your friend too.
