With nearly eight million Brits planning a summer 'holi-stay' this year, there has never been a better time to embrace the great outdoors and enjoy an alfresco lifestyle. Almost a third of people living in Britain can no longer afford a week's holiday abroad (National Statistics 2013) and are therefore embracing the stress-free comfort of their own homes. What better way to celebrate this than with the return of the 'at-home' outdoor eating and entertaining campaign - Gastro Alfresco 2013.
Last week we were lucky enough to get an invitation to the YO! Burger launch party at YO! Sushi's premier restaurant in Poland Street where we sampled all five of the limited edition YO! Burgers and talked to Mike Lewis, YO! Sushi's award winning Executive Chef. The creation of the YO! Burger stems from Mike's many travels across Japan, to all the different regions. Mike wanted to capture all the flavours and experiences from his travels into the five new, exciting flavours of YO! Burger.
Forget beef burgers, the latest burger innovation has landed at YO! Sushi and it's made with rice! Introducing, for your culinary delights, the YO! Burger - a burger packed with flavour and re-imagined for the modern day. You won't find beef in the YO! Burger or a stodgy bap covered in grease. Their buns are made from the finest Japanese rice and are the final word in East meets West cuisine.

Why not get out and about this summer and combine a family walk on the South West Coast Path with a host of other old-fashioned childhood pleasures, from crabbing in rock pools and exploring hidden coves, to following in the footsteps of giants. Each of the five walks, which have been chosen by the South West Coast Path team, can be downloaded at South West Coast Path.
