Dream Challenges has announced today that it expects fifty individuals to take part in the next "Britain V Cancer" challenge - Hike the Himalayas. The trek which takes place in India from the 24th of April to the 5th of May 2014 is a very special and unique event which will unite individuals from many different walks of life to raise funds for the cancer charity of their choice.

On Sunday 12th May 2013, from 10.00am - 4.00pm Love Food Festival are delighted to be celebrating their 5th birthday at the beautiful National Trust Property Dyrham Park. The well loved festival will set up residence at the 17th century property for a day of festivities including a huge market showcasing some superb local produce.

In August 2011, Alison Coombs saw an advert in a weight watchers magazine for Women V Cancer Cycle Challenges - India . Having just lost 5 stone herself and with cancer having touched her family, Alison signed up. An incredibly emotional journey, lots of tears, lots of laughs and very sore bottoms ensued, as 88 women cycled through India - camping and pulling together to raise money to help other women.

Dev Biswal, the chef-patron of The Ambrette Michelin-listed fine Indian dining venue, has launched his own brand 'Biswal's Premier' marinades. The marinades, as used in the award-winning Margate restaurant, have been introduced as a response to customers asking the secret to The Ambrette's distinctive style and flavours, so they can try them at home.
