Hearty Lamb Stew

We had a few pounds of diced lamb left in the freezer from our bulk shop at the local butchers this month. So, combined with the root vegetables left in the bottom of the basket, we have created a 'no-fuss' lamb stew. Perfect comfort food for the colder nights.

British Apples 'Secretly' Exposed

When my son came in this evening asking if he could eat the last slice of our homemade apple pie I did a double take. He loves raw apples and he is partial to pastry but when combined he is less than keen. But Monks Farm apples from Marks & Spencer make the grade, it seems!
