All The Thrills and Spills of Hickstead's British Jumping Derby Day 2013

Last weekend it was a delight to finally walk around the impressive Derby course at the Hickstead showground and watch some of the world's top showjumpers compete to win the Hickstead Derby, instead of simply watching it on TV. Your Source Today took a trip out to Hickstead to get a first hand feel for this event and to see what Derby Day had to offer.

London Trained Chef Returns to his Roots at the Corner House Restaurant in Minster

Matt Sworder, a 28 year old marketing graduate, gave up a lucrative career in insurance to work as a chef in some of London's top restaurants, training with Gordon Ramsay (La Noisette), Anthony Demetre (Les Deux Salons) and Adam Byatt (Bistro Union). Now, for the first time, he has opened his own restaurant, The Corner House in Minster, near Ramsgate, Kent.

Phillip Miller and Caritiar Z Win the Hickstead Derby

Hertfordshire-based Phillip Miller has won the 53rd Hickstead Derby on Caritiar Z, with the 36-year old producing the sole clear on the 13-year-old grey gelding. The later drawn Trevor Breen (Adventure De Kannan) and William Funnell (Dorada) were left to settle for second place with four faults apiece, both knocking down the open ditch, near to the end of the course.
