UK's Curry Rivalry Starting to Simmer as Cities begin to compete for Curry Capital of Britain 2013

Britain's love affair with curry is well known - and now twenty-one teams have been nominated to fight it out to be crowned Curry Capital of Britain, with this year's competition set to be bigger than ever. The annual awards are organised by the Federation of Specialist Restaurants (Fedrest), in association with lead sponsors www.hungryhouse.co.uk. Last year a quarter of a million foodie fans voted for their favourite city, with Bradford narrowly beating Glasgow and Wolverhampton to receive the prestigious Curry Capital crown for the third time.

Ripley's Believe It or Not! London Hosts Pop-up Exhibition of Artwork by Sleep Walking Artist

This summer, Ripley's Believe It or Not! London opens its first ever pop-up exhibition - a series of works by British 'sleep walking artist', Lee Hadwin. Opening on 16th August 2013 with a special appearance by the artist himself, visitors to London's most bizarre attraction can enjoy a mini exhibition showcasing 13 pieces of art that Lee has created whilst in a state of sleep.

CarFest North is a Roaring Success

CarFest made a spectacular return to the British summer events calendar last weekend 2nd - 4th August at Oulton Park circuit near Chester. With a second event taking place at the end of the month CarFest looks set to make over £1 million for BBC Children in Need. The first of this summer's two events - which were conceived back in the Spring of 2011 to raise money for BBC Children in Need - took place in front of an enormous crowd at this historic race track with CarFest South to follow in three weeks time at Laverstoke Park Farm near Basingstoke on 23rd - 25th August 2013.

Wellington College Scores Double at National Schools and Pony Club Jumping Championships

Wellington College scored a double today at the Hurstpierpoint College National Schools and Pony Club Jumping Championships, claiming the Senior Schools Individual and Team titles. More than 100 teams from various schools and branches of the Pony Club across the country flocked to the All England Jumping Course at Hickstead in West Sussex for the annual competition, which gives young riders the chance to compete in the prestigious International Arena.

La Cave à Fromage and Premier Cheese launch a Cheesemakers' Christmas Market

Following on from the success of their Spring Cheesemakers' Market, La Cave à Fromage and Premier Cheese will be holding a new Christmas market on Sunday 15th December 2013. Unlike the Spring version, which featured a mix of Continental and British cheesemakers, the Christmas market will focus primarily on British producers who will be perfect for the festive cheese board.
