Sean Stembridge, from Tantobie, County Durham, who was diagnosed with coeliac disease in 2008, became so used to blank stares when he asked for a gluten-free dish, that he decided to set up a website to help make gluten-free living easier. Sean has now joined forces with friend and marketing whiz, Stephen Gorton from Perth, Scotland, in the complex task of developing LiveGlutenFree™.

With the Allergy and Free-From Show at Olympia this month from the 18th - 20th May, we continue our search for the best free-from products available today. What we try to bear in mind when we review products is that we will never find the 'perfect' product for everyone. We will not find the best bread for everyone. Because we all have a different vision of what the best is.
Next month sees the start of Coeliac Awareness Week, 14th - 20th May and we are continuing our search for gluten-free alternatives. Recently we stumbled upon Honeybuns and their "award winning gluten- and wheat-free cakes" and it is clear that the people behind Honeybuns take their business seriously and have tremendous pride in their work. For us, Honeybuns hits the spot!
Having last month received the Free From Food Great Taste Award from Foods You Can (a resource website for food intolerance and allergies), Fria, Sweden's award-winning market-leader in gluten-free bakery products, received a further accolade this week, when it was awarded the prestigious Best Bread award at the Free From Food Awards 2012 in London.
