We made the most of the sunny weekends last month and started July in the same way. When we can travel and make impromptu day trips, we don't need too much encouragement to get out and about as much as possible.

Days Out at Port Lympne and Howletts
As an internationally renowned animal conservation charity, the Aspinall Foundation are world leaders in the breeding and protection of endangered animals working in partnership with Howletts Wild Animal Park and Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve.
National Trust - Knole
We are very lucky to have a selection of amazing National Trust spaces near our home, and as members of the National Trust we pop in to many local places when we have time to spare.
A Weekend at Leonardo London City
In mid-March, we booked a two-night stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London City. Arriving on a Friday afternoon, we checked in and stayed until 2 pm on Sunday.
Denbies Chocolate Fair 2025
Save the Date! The Denbies Chocolate Fair will take place on Sunday, April 13th, 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm in the Garden Room at Denbies Wine Estate, Dorking with free entry and a chance to stock up on chocolate treats a week before Easter.
Overnight in London
On a cold Saturday morning towards the end of January, we decided we needed a little weekend break, so headed up to the City for an overnight stay.
