Excitement is mounting for what promises to be the biggest Easter weekend of food and drink that Sussex has ever seen. The Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival 'Spring Harvest' will be returning to the heart of the city for the first of its two annual celebrations of good, local produce. The main anchor events will run on Good Friday 29th March and Easter Saturday 30th March, with even more events on Easter Monday 1st April.
For the first time ever, Chef Vivek Singh of the prestigious Cinnamon Club is opening up his kitchen and dining room to an "outsider" to guest chef for an afternoon. That pop-up chef is none other than Asma Khan, who runs the immensely popular Darjeeling Express Indian supperclub. Professional food and drink buyers visiting next month's Natural Food (trade) Show will be treated to a record number of new natural, organic, biodynamic, Fairtrade, free-from and special diet products for 2013, says organiser Diversified Business Communications UK. World Pizza Champion and Acrobat Graziano Bertuzzo has been showing off his skills in front of Royal Victoria Dock ahead of the UK Finals of the World Pizza Championships at IFE13 today, (Wednesday 20th March 2013). It is the first time these championships have been held in the UK.
