The renowned Ambrette restaurants in Margate and Rye have announced the return of their popular gourmet wine tasting evenings, in conjunction with the Cranbrook-based wine and cheese merchants, Perfect Partners. Wine and food connoisseurs have three dates to chose from, all Sundays: 27th January, 12th May and Sunday 8th September 2013, beginning at 7pm.

The venue for CarFest North has finally been revealed by BBC Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans and will take place at Oulton Park Race Circuit in Cheshire from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th August 2013. As in 2012, CarFest South will take place at Laverstoke Park Farm - the home of former Formula 1 World Champion Jody Scheckter - from Friday 23rd August to Sunday 25th August 2012.
England will be going all out for victory when they take on a team from the rest of the British Isles in the annual International Arena Polo Test Match at Hickstead. The All England Polo Club at Hickstead will once again play host to the Test Match, which will be held onSaturday 2nd March 2013 and England will be hoping to continue their unbeaten run, having been victorious against teams from South Africa in 2008, the USA in 2009, Scotland in 2010, Argentina in 2011, and the USA again in last year's match at Hickstead.
