Tim Maddams, head chef and face of River Cottage, is Love Food's special guest at this year's Spring Festival 23rd and 24th March 2013 and will be sharing his views on this importance of ethically produced and sustainably sourced food. He will be cooking up a storm in the demonstration kitchen and visitors will have the opportunity to sample some of his delicious culinary creations!
The first of eight UK Foodies Festivals takes place at Brighton Hove Lawns from the 4th - 6th May 2013. The UK's largest celebration of food and drink will see visitors flock from the surrounding areas to feast on the vast array of culinary activities for the third consecutive year in Brighton.
Foodies Festival, the UK's largest celebration of food and drink, returns in 2013 with events scheduled at Brighton, Tatton Park, Hampton Court Palace, Clapham Common, Bristol, Edinburgh and Oxford. In addition, this year will see the launch of Feast in the Park at Battersea Park in August. Now in its eighth year, Foodies Festival is introducing new elements to all events in 2013.
Brighton food festival organisers are expecting their biggest ever weekend this Easter with three anchor events - the Big Sussex Market, Live Food Show and Children's Food Festival - taking over New Road, Jubilee Square and Victoria Gardens - for an epic two days of great food and drink. The Big Sussex Market on Good Friday 29th and Easter Saturday 30th March will see stalls featuring 80 local growers, producers and restaurateurs selling a huge range of great food and drink.
A brand new national vegetarian, vegan and meat reducer food show has been launched by seasoned event organisers, F2F Events. Taking place from the 7th - 9th June 2013 this year at London's Olympia, V Delicious will be a fabulous gastronomic and culinary entertainment day out, where visitors can revel in their passion for vegetarian and vegan food, drink and living.
The dates have been confirmed for a brand new vegetarian lifestyle show in the heart of the West End of London at the world famous Kensington Olympia over two days from the 5th - 6th October 2013. With 10,000 visitors expected to attend this event, it is open from 11am - 7pm on both days.
