Love Food Festival Kicks Off 2013 with a Fantastically Warming Festival of Food

Now in it's third year the annual Valentine event has had to budge up a bit and will be held at Paintworks on the Sunday 10th February this year, to make room for two other fantastic food event happening close by. The food loving festival will provide visitors with the opportunity to celebrate Valentine's Day with the family and buy gifts for loved ones or ingredients for that special meal in the huge indoor 'Love Food market'.

Kitchen Waste Alchemy at the Budock Vean

Cornwall's top country house hotel is starting the New Year with some startling facts and figures about its new kitchen waste composting policy - which is adding to its substantial green credentials and saving money too. The Budock Vean, on the Helford River, has been doing some number crunching during the past two months, in which staff have managed to reduce the amount of food waste from the kitchens by a third.

Wild Food Foraging With A "Hungry Boy" At Cornwall's Budock Vean

Thom Hunt from Channel 4's "Three Hungry Boys" will be out foraging the grounds and Helford River shoreline of Cornwall's Budock Vean hotel in April 5th - 8th April 2013 helping guests make the most of the Great British Countryside with a focus on wild food cooking. Thom Hunt is one third of Hugh Fearnely-Whittingstall's Three Hungry Boys and is the Hunter/Fisher/Forager star the popular Channel 4 show.

Film Celebrates the Best of Liverpool City Region Produce

Food Tourism Connect, the campaign to drive demand for food created and produced in Liverpool City Region, has launched a short film to stimulate interest in local producers. The video was first screened at Liverpool's FACT Cinema, and was shot and produced by acclaimed Liverpool photographer Mark McNulty. It will be used to promote Liverpool City Region produce to the public and businesses.
