Teff, a gluten-free grain packed full of nutrients including iron, calcium, magnesium and vitamins B and C, whilst low in calories, is a staple of the Ethiopian and Eritrean diet, and is available to the UK market in an increasing range of products from Tobia-Teff. Whilst originally just teff flour (brown or white) was available, the range now also includes organic flour, cereals and the latest addition, home-made teff breads.
Another great find on our "free from" journey has got to be the fabulous sweets available from Goody Good Stuff. Goody Good Stuff is an all-new natural, meat-free, gummy candy range that is made with a plant derived bio-gum technology, which eliminates the need for animal-based gelatin, which most traditional gummy candies use. Over the last 15 years, Goody Good Stuff have worked to develop a food technology, which allows them to remove the gelatine from Gummy candies while still producing a deliciously smooth and clear consistency. This makes their product range a first and only of its kind in the market.
When we discovered a pot of inSpiral's Kale Chips at the Allergy and Free from Show at Olympia we were a little intrigued, to say the least. Initially the idea seemed a little extreme and rather an odd thing to do with the humble Kale, but in an effort to bring our readers a greater choice and variety in their diets we taste tested the available range... with some interesting results!

Honeybuns is well known for its innovative products and de-constructing old favourites to produce something utterly unique. This gorgeous new Sconeybun is half bun and half scone, and completely gluten and dairy free too.
As our regular readers know, we are searching for a great free from white loaf and after the recent Allergy & Free From Show at Olympia we picked up a Fria White Loaf to test. As with the other Fria products this loaf was already frozen, yet managed the journey home and into the freezer without any problems.
