It has been an age since I was able to enjoy a slice of panettone, or two. Last week I ate nearly the whole loaf when my daughter brought home a Schär free-free panettone. In my defence it was a small loaf.

During the November Shotengai pan-Asian Street Market in London, we met Shay and sampled her Nutty Belly Gal collection of nut butters. We were so impressed we bought some full jars to review.

Nutty Belly Gal is a London-based craft peanut butter brand which creates bold, often Asian-inspired flavours. Hi-oleic peanuts are toasted and churned with quality, all natural ingredients.

Whilst on holiday in Tavistock recently, we were introduced to Bacchus and Hops, a company on a mission to find premium alcohol-free drinks that didn’t compromise on quality or experience.

This week it is National Baking Week, which just happens to be running concurrently with UK Chocolate Week 2025. From Monday 13th to Sunday 19th October the UK is celebrating all things sweet.

It is safe to say that a chocolate obsession can become a real problem. But this month we are definitely hooked on these bars of Peruvian Dark Chocolate with Raspberry.
